From this course, I have learned various teaching skills to properly teach students of all level, including problems that can occur in class (i.e. lack of motivation) and how to rectify or minimize such problems. I have also learned how to plan lesson plans that will hopefully be engaging and educational for the students. This course also served as a refresher class for me on the very basic english tenses.
I plan to use what I have learned in this course to prepare functional lesson plans to teach my students in the english Program in Korea (EPIK). This course has given me confidence so that I can be prepared when standing in front of these eager young learners.
I found this course to be very useful and resourceful, especially for an inexperienced teacher like me.
