I have learned what essential areas of grammar are important to use with students. I will continue to review and use the excellent suggestions in the course material for making the esl classes I teach more interesting and fun. The best part of the course was using the ESA framework to create lesson plans. Going through the process of creating lesson plans in the structured format helped me to visualize how the lessons would work in the classroom. Great teaching is based on great lesson plans, and the lesson plan practice in the course has set me on the path to creating great lesson plans. Watching the video lesson was helpful for its demonstration of the natural transitions between the parts of the lesson in action. I appreciated the constructive and encouraging feedback from my instructor.
