This is a good unit for us to learn about teaching receptive skills. Explanations and examples given are very clear and concise. The outline of a typical receptive skills lesson is very well done and is very helpful for us when we need to plan our own. This unit is also thought provoking as we think about how to improve as we work through the unit to make lessons more interesting to motivate and engage the students.
