While I am not a supporter of formal testing I acknowledge that I may be asked to use it in the clasrrom so learning the different types and how I can use them is helpful. I think a diagnostic test will be a great first day activity followed by a little fun. Progress tests in other forms can be used as long as they follow the guidelines. I have not learned much about the international testing types since it was very specific but I can always look back and use it as a reference.
