This unit is about the present tenses and the different uses of each. I've learnt that the present tense is normally used when speaking of habitual or routine actions. It's also used when speaking of facts or present stories. The present perfect however is normally used when we describe past actions with present results or when we are thinking of completed actions carried out in an unfinished time period at the time of speaking.
