Unit 11 covered the receptive skills of language which are reading and listening. Reading can be easier for students because the text can be read multiple times and unknown words can be studied by the context of the surrounding text. Listening proves more difficult because students will only hear the content one time. Students must be able to listen for general understanding and not focus on the word-by-word account.
