Although English is my native language, I had never been given any formal education in grammar. The extent of my grammar knowledge was previously only nouns, verbs and adjectives! Understandably this unit of work was quite challenging for me. I feel that I have learnt a lot in this unit and can now say that have a sound understanding of the principles of grammar and have gained a technical understanding of how we form parts of speech to create English language. I found the tutorial video to be very helpful with my understanding of this unit's content.
