This unit has been my nemesis. I do not remember learning sentence structure when I was younger, so this has been very helpful in breaking down the sentence structure in order for me to understand it. I have taken extra time with this unit as I feel it is important. From this unit I ve gained following information
-knowing grammar in depth is crucial for teachers
-teachers should be very careful while explaining parts of speech as it may confuse students if it is explained well.
-students should be exposed to grammar step by step because too much information may not have the expected results. This unit covers the parts of speech. Covering nouns, adjectives, articles, verbs, adverbs, gerunds, pronouns and prepositions. The unit covers the basic functions of each of these parts of speech and the different subcatigories of each part of speech.
