Parts of Speech, was a brief reminder that English is not a easy language to master for native and non-native speakers alike. In total the student and teacher must navigate the 8 parts of grammar, each with their own rules which can interfere with another part of speech. In addition, one must learn the various sub-genres within each of the 8 parts totaling 13 in all from countable nouns to conjunctions.
As a English instructor it will in our hands to recognize and assess which part of the sentence should be changed to ensure the student can get their message across effectively. And as for myself personally, I was never particularly good at recognizing and explaining grammar so I must be prepared by reviewing the basic rules form time to time.
