I learned from this unit the different parts of speech. I reviewed the basic grammar rules and how to apply rules and exceptions in speech, such as in using verbs, adverbs, pronouns, adjectives, and types of nouns. It was really nice to go through elementary English again. It's been a long time, and now it comes naturally. To be able to approach it in a way that a non-native speaker does is beneficial. I'm really excited to take this course. I'm learning so much. It's honestly a bit boring, but, beggars can't be choosers. This unit gave an introduction to the different parts of speech. I learnt a lot from it because as a native speaker we are not taught the parts of speech, it is just learned through repetition. It was a very difficult unit to learn, especially the idea of prepositions, but with more practice it will become easier.
