I have also learnt a great deal from this unit. Even tho i am a native speaker some of the terminology i did not know e.g. gerunds. I do all these types of speech naturally and don't usually pick apart my sentances.Before i came to china i didn't even know what a countable noun and an uncountable noun was but yet i was using them all the time.That's why i decidied to get a book on grammar but even that wasn't that clear. This unit has been very helpful and given me better understanding so that i can explain to my students alot more clearly and give them some good examples.The list of irregular verbs will be very helpful as sometimes it is hard for my students to comprehend.Also adverbs,instead of just making then write down a list of adverbs i can now get them to write them into categories: manner,place,time etc.Trasitive and intransitive verbs, i've always known how to do them but ive never been able to explain them very well without taking a long time. I'm hoping your examples will help my students to understand alot better.Thank you for including this unit,I will definitely be using it in the classroom.
