The unit focused on the parts of speech of the english language. It touched upon what is used to create a sentence and how words are used. I felt that it did a great job with breaking down how words are used as well as where they are placed within a sentence. I thought the section on regular verbs and irregular verbs did a good job explaining and showing that there are different form in which the verbs can come in and be used. Having the charts were really beneficial to see how some verbs have to change spelling in order to be in its past form such as the pat participle. Overall i thought the unit was gave a great breakdown on what the different parts of speech are and the ways they can be used in the language.
