This unit taught us about the basic parts of speech. There were a few new things I learned in the unit: I did not know Before what comparative and superlative adjectives were, and my method for determining what is and what is not a transitive verb has changed. However, I still think that the best way of teaching these is through example sentences, not the trees so commonly used in american schools.
