This second unit mainly focused upon dissecting the different parts of speech. The main aspect that I was able to take from this unit was how intricate and complex these parts of speech can be. For instance, I know the very basics of all that was presented in the unit; however, this unit showed me that even something as simple as a noun can have many attributes to it. Being able to study this subject in greater depth has helped me understand it more, and thus my understanding will also prepare me to teach it in the future.
