In this unit I have got more clear pictures of the general grammars.And for the first time I got to know the special words for each part of the speech.It really helped and it gave me more ideas and confidence to teach this part which was the weakest part I assumed. This unit helped me understand the structure and what makes up a sentence. There are many parts to a complex sentence the I did not think about. I learned about articles, the types of adjectives, what gerunds are, what prepositions are, what conjunctions are, and I learned how to help the students understand these sometimes difficult rules. I learned about many different speech parts and grammar. I learned that a preposition describes the position of things. I learned the difference between verbs, nouns, pronouns, adjectives, adverbs and I have a clear idea about how to teach them in the right way. This was very interesting to understand.
