Wow, as a native English speaker there is a lot I didn't know Before. I found it confusing at times to learns definite and indefinite articles as well as comparative and superlative adjectives but it all made sense in the end. Grammar is hard! I feel like I definitely learned a lot more about parts of speech. I never actually knew the reason why certain things go in a certain place when it came to forming a basic sentence because growing up as a child I was always told that's how it is done. Wow! What a refresher this lesson was. It has been many years since I've taken such a close look 'under the hood' of the English Language. The 'Gerund', in particular, is something I had forgotten altogether. I've also discovered that I will need to place a particular emphasis on prepositions, adverbs, and verb forms in future studies.
