In this unit, I was reminded of the complexities in learning grammar. Usually, I speak without even thinking about the grammatical structure of my sentences. I understood how frustrating it can be to learn grammar as a non-English speaker. I can now rethink how to teach grammar points in class. Grammar knowledge and parts of speech is a deeply interesting topic which I wish to learn about in greater depth. One of the hardest parts about it is remembering it, since as a native teacher it is naturally acquired. Learning the rules and to your own language is very difficult. The content of this unit is all about parts of speech and grammar. I have learned the importance of knowing the parts of speech because it helped me formulate a better and correct grammar sentence. I have learned the correct placement of words in a sentence, how to use the right words and when to use them.
