This unit is the first grammar based unit of the course and explores the different parts of speech that make up the English language. This unit taught me about the world of nouns, verbs, adjectives and adverbs, and a subject I don't think I've ever heard of called gerunds. I have had previous experience learning English grammar but the methods always seemed a bit disorganized. I learnt that English grammar can be understood best when approached from a logical angle as was done by this particular unit.
