This was a great review of parts of speech for me. I learned what a gerund is, the -ing form of a verb used as a noun. It is important to teach my students the correct parts of speech when the time is right for them. Since they are the young learners, I will not be working so much with the correct parts of speech but I will model the correct parts of speech for them.
