This unit provided a good overview of grammatical points, and during the unit I was able to identify the areas in which I require refreshment of prior knowledge, breakdowns were helpful, and I will use many of the examples in my teaching plans, as this seems to help in clearly understanding the correct use for these grammatical principals. This unit covers grammar usage. It began with the different parts of speech and giving definitions. It covers and gives examples of the different parts of speech in English. Also explains exceptions and situation of usage. The unit explains to me the fundamental differences in the main parts of speech in English. I learned the differences between comparitive adjectives, personal pronouns, gerunds and the different classifications of the parts of speech. I also found the course extremely interesting and I am enjoying the course units thus far.
