In this unit we covered the parts of speech of English. We learned about nouns, adjectives, articles, verbs, adverbs, pronouns, and more. Having had a few years to forget my courses in Linguistics, I found it especially interesting to read about the various types of each part of speech. For example, countable vs uncountable nouns (a distinction that my japanese students have trouble with) and the varieties of pronouns.
