The second unit in this course was very helpful in learning and understanding parts of speech and sentence structure. I feel I now have a better understanding of how to construct and therefore teach basic grammar and sentence structure to students. As a native English speaker I don't always think about how I'm structuring a sentence, it just comes naturally. This unit has helped me to take a step back and look at the basics of sentences, from the beginning.
