This chapter outlined and described the various basic parts of speech in the English language, and noted their proper usage while also noting the difficulties EFL students may have with them. I have gained a better understanding of what parts of speech may prove difficult to my students, while also learning specifics of the English language that I either take for granted knowing as a native speaker or only knew from elementary school.
