In this unit, you learn about grammar and the different parts of speech there are: nouns, verbs, adjetive, adverb, preposition, pronoun, infinitive, gerund, article and conjunction.
Nouns- Name persons, places, things and concept/idea. There are common, proper, compound and collective nouns.
Verb- is an action or a state, there are auxiliary verbs.
Adjetive- describe nouns and give more information. they name the size, age, color, material of a noun.
Adverb- describes verbs in manner, place, time, frequency and degree.
Preposition- shows a relation ship between a noun/ pronoun and the rest of the sentence. It can be by time, place, movement and others.
Pronoun- take the place of a noun in a personal, reflexive, relative and possessive way.
Infinitive- to + the verb
Gerund- verb + -ing
Article- they are indefinite, definite or zero article.
Conjunction- they are used for linking or joining words.",
