This unit taught how construct sentences. The unit showed the components of a sentence and the rules governing the order of the parts of speech. It was interesting to see how very complex English can be to a learner. Proficient English speakers take so much for granted. I was taken aback by the number of exceptions to rules and just how much learners have to memorise
