I have learn much on parts of speech which are grouped into verbs, nouns, adjectives, adverbs: how to form a proper and correct simple sentence made of subject, verb and object.most importantly the difference between the gerund and the present participle because in the past I really did not know much about this. In this unit I learned how different parts of speech are used to create proper sentences. I also learned how to discern between different types of pronouns, verbs, and nouns. I will now be able to better use them in class and describe them to my students in a way they understand. Covered the proper names of parts of speech, the uses of each as well as rules. Highly informative and great to hear the proper names, as being a native speaker it's easy to forget the proper way to talk about grammar. The examples were highly useful and illustrated the concept effectively.
