Unit two was an introduction to the basic forms of English grammar. This included: verbs, adjectives, nouns, prepositions, conjunctions, adverbs, articles, gerunds, and pronouns, to Name a few. Within each grammatical point there are also extra grammatical rules--such as transitive, intransitive, and auxillary verbs, comparative and superlative adjectives, and personal, possessive, reflexive, and relative pronouns. It can be difficult to remember the names of each grammar point, but it is incredibly important to understand the reasons for the foundation of the English language in order to effectively teach students. I have learned a great deal from this lesson, mostly is based on organizing the various words in a sentence and further practicing how to identify the parts of a sentence.
