This unit talks about the parts of speech and grammar, how to learn it and how to tach it.
We learned rules of grammar, regular and irregular. Regular and irregular verbs, transitive and intransitive verbs with its 4 main tenses among other common rules and received simple exemples to clarify the concepts. This unit was a little understandable....after going over it a few times I was able to understand a lot more with different verbs, conjunctions, auxiliary verbs.... This unit is particularly important because it will form the foundation of the reading and spelling instruction. Even though I have studied nouns, pronouns, articles, adverbs, verbs, adjectives, conjunctions etc. today, I think in order to be truly effective, reviewing these parts of speech every so often really assists a teacher in providing quality instruction for their student.
