This unit covered basic grammar, including nouns (proper, common, compound, abstract and collective, as well as countable and uncountable), verbs (transitive and intransitive, or regular and irregular, infinite and auxiliary, along with four verb forms- base form, past simple, past participle and present participle), adverbs (the five main types of which are manner, place, time, degree and frequency), adjectives (comparatives and superlatives) , the three articles (a, an and the), gerunds, pronouns (personal, possessive, reflexive and relative), prepositions and conjunctions. I particularly found gerunds and the different types of pronouns and verbs interesting.
