I have remembered the different types of nouns, the comparisons, articles, the verb forms, adverbs, gerunds, pronouns and prepositions. Knowing where the adverbs go in a sentence has been very interesting. I also have revised the formation of the plural and i have remembered that "each word in a sentence can be further classified I have found that having to explain grammar to a second language learner is tricky as the ?Does it sound correct to you??- logic no longer applies. We have to present the learner with a set of rules and then lead them towards application The layout of the various parts of speech in this unit makes it a handy basic reference Guide. The examples are easy to understand and useful. It is also helpful that the exceptions to many of these grammatical rules have also been provided."
