In this unit we discussed various parts of speech. Although many teachers won't have all of the answers to questions on grammar, it is important that teachers have at least a basic level of understanding. English is comprised of basic sentences which include a subject and verb (typical sentences include more words than this). It is important to know how a basic sentence is properly structured in order to be an effective communicator.
