This unit gives a clear explanation of the main parts of speech, which mainly can be formed by a noun and a verb, and there is further clasification depending on the content of the sentences. The parts of speech explained on this unit are: noun (which can be countable or uncountable), pronoun (which can be personal, possessive, reflexive, relative), verb (which can be transitive or intransitive and not only denotes action but also state), article (which can be definite or indefinite), adjective, comparative and superlative adjetives, possesive adjetive which are sometimes confused with possesive pronouns, adverbs (which can be divided in adverbs of manner, frequency, etc.), prepositions (which can be mainly classified in three groups as time, movement, place), conjunctions and auxiliary verbs (be, have or do).
With the study of this unit I have been able to review the parts of speech, have gotten a better understanding of it, have learnt new rules and how to recognize and classify the words that conform a sentence according to its meaning.
