Prior to studying this unit I was confused by adjectives, nouns and verbs. Now I feel more comfortable with not only these, but even more complicated language concepts such as prepositions, gerunds etc. I will continue to practice and test myself, and will work hard to familiarise myself with the irregular verbs. Parts of speech were the content of Unit two, and I am glad that my knowledge in grammar was refreshed. It is important to know how a sentence is built, how different words fit into different categories, where adverbs should go in a sentence, countable and uncountable nouns, when to use ?the?, and much more.
