This unit is a general introduction into the grammar of the English language. It begins with an overview of what grammar is. Next, it covers all of the main parts of speech that form a sentence, starting with the very basic parts and ending with the parts of speech that are a little more difficult. Throughout the unit, many examples of each part of speech are given, along with the specific forms of each of those categories in order to help the student-teacher fully comprehend these forms in order to become better equipped to teach them.
