Personally, I have really improved myself as a teacher through this online course. I benefited greatly from the grammar sections because these were my weakest in the classroom. I have tried to teach myself before from other websites, but these courses have allowed myself to practice and learn them in a more understandable manner. I have also learned ways to communicate these concepts to my students and these lesson have forced me to think up different lesson ideas to present what I’ve learned. This course has also forced me to become more organized and actually think through a lesson. I also went to class prepared, but never had a very detailed lesson plan to go off of with time and never thought of problems that could arise. I think that these skills will make me a better teacher for my students. I know my students have always been comfortable with me and enjoyed me , but I don’t think I have always given them the grammar work they deserve. I have been offered a real paying job abroad so hopefully I use my new skills on them !
