In unit sixteen I learned about conditionals and reported speech. There are five main conditionals. The zero conditional refers to actions and facts. The first conditional is about a real situation in the future that will be probable once a condition has been accomplished. The second conditional communicates a present or future hypothetical situation that is unlikely to ever be true. The third conditional refers to a hypothetical past condition and hypnotical consequence. The mixed conditional combines a second conditional clause with a third conditional clause such as; if I had run I would be in pain right now. Direct speech is between people at a specific time while reported speech is saying what someone else said to you.
