Personally I have gained a lot of knowledge of grammar that I did not have before. After taking this course I feel a lot stronger in grammar than I was when I started, which will, and has helped me in the classroom.
Additionally, I have learned the importance of lesson planning and finding a good structure and planning in advance. The teachers I work with currently, who have not taken a tefl course, do not understand proper lesson planning and have extreme difficultly planning in advance, whereas I breeze through planning my months, and see the benefits in return (Im not struggling to squeeze in last minute tests and essays at then end of the month). So, I have already put components of this course into action, and will continue to do so in the future.
