I've certainly learnt a lot more english then when I was at school! This course has opened my eyes and made me realise how much I take the english language for granted. At school there never seemed to be much importance placed in knowing verbs, adjectives, tenses or anything else and so I came away not knowing any of it. This course has made me feel like I'm learning english for the first time and makes me appreciate how difficult it can be for learners. It's actually still quiet daunting, the thought of getting in front of a classroom and teaching, however this course has given me the resources to further my own knowledge of the english language so that it's no longer scary! I'm currently living in Europe and plan to find work in the teaching field, preferably with younger learners in a bilingual kindergarten or day care. This course has enabled that to happen as without the certificate it's simply not possible, in saying that it's not only the certificate which has allowed this to happen. Like I said, my knowledge of english has improved and I'm also now more aware of what learners will be thinking and feeling when entering a course. Which will enable me as a teacher to be more considerate and understanding.
