This unit covered the range of reasons for examination and different forms of examination available. I hadn’t been aware of the all the different reasons one may wish to have a class complete an examination and this caused me to reflect on some of the examinations I’ve undertaken in my own academic career and the rationale for these at differing points of the syllabus or courses I was taking.
