This unit provided a good overview of the changes in tenses when reporting and thinking about conditional speech. I found this unit to be challenging because I had never really thought about the way in which I reported events and the verb changes I use. I thought the unit was helpful in thinking about reporting shifts and the ways in which the verb tense changes. I hope that having to really learn this myself will give me the tools to help students who may be struggling with it.
