Unit 7 begins by telling us what sudents need to do with a new language and stressses the importance of introducing it to them in a balanced and manageable way. We are given important tips on how to select vocabulary as well as valuable teaching techniques. Grammatical structures are then covered with ideas for each lesson phase. Lastly it looks at language functions. For all three topics there is an example of a typical ESA lesson which is very helpful.
