I have learned a great deal about the basic workings of the english language, which I never really considered before, seeing as I had grown up with it. Also it gave me good ideas for activities and helped me come up with my own activity ideas for my classes. This was especially helpful for my very young students. I also really appreciated the Engage – Study – Activate and all its variations, for coming up with how to structure lessons and have them be interesting to my kids. I also hadn’t a clue as to how to create a lesson plan before this, and now this is going to be invaluable. I have just been accepted into Peace Corps, and will be teaching english in a secondary school in Azerbaijan for the next two years. So, yeah, it will be getting used quite regularly.
