Although I have taught before and have experience with younger learners this course has shown me a different perspective on teaching. Since I began this course I have been able to better connect with my students and implement some strategies I have learnt throughout this course. It has made teaching that much more pleasurable. I have come to realize that there is much more to teaching than meets the eye and certainly much more difficult and challenging to teach speakers of other languages. I look forward to applying what I learnt to adult learners and applying strategies that may not necessarily be effective with younger learners to adult learners. I would like to teach in countries all over the world and utilize what I have learnt to the best of my abilities.
