This unit taught me what kinds of qualities are in a good teacher as well as what kinds of qualities good learners have. What stood out to me in this lesson was the roles of a teacher. The fact that I will be a model for new learners opened my eyes. I have been slowing down my speaking rate and really trying to focus on the pronunciation of my words with the idea that somebody is trying to learn from me.
