This unit gives a brief overview of teaching methods that are applicable to the english classroom. It was helpful to learn some historical methods and how they inform current teaching practices. This course appreciates the fact that teaching method and teacher conduct has a very important impact on student learning. I found myself wishing that some of my previous professors in non-Englsih subjects had used some of these methods.
