This unit offered a lot of real examples and good suggestions. I appreciated all the suggestions for games and activities to do in each stage. This unit also helped me to recognize how important it is to be aware of what stage you are in as you are teaching. Even during discussion based classes it is important to be aware if you are trying to teach new structures or test what students already know. I also appreciated that the unit underlines that students likely have minimal contact with english outside of class. Finally
