In summary I have gained the experience of how to teach english to a class or an individual. I think that the engage, study, activate way of planning lessons is very good and it made me think about every stage of the class and why it's important. I will certainly be using that method to ensure that students get the very best from their classes with me.
I have learned to be more organized and like the structure and timing that a lesson plan provides.
I have learned about english and how sentences are correctly formed. I was surprised at how difficult some of the grammar areas were to complete and will make sure that I take particular care to be clear in my teaching instruction and support students in whatever way I can best support them. This was a good brush up on english and to actually understand some of the rules of speaking english.
I have also gained a qualification that will give the students more confidence to know that I do know how to teach them properly even in a volunteer situation.
