This Unit covered some of the problems that may arise in classes: facing a new class; classes of mixed levels and ability; students who are reluctant to participate; very large classes. Many of these problems I have already encountered; others I anticipate facing in the future and have been nervous about how to approach them. The Unit was useful in drawing attention to the problems that may arise and showing strategies to deal with them. Being prepared for these problems makes me less anxious about them. Many of the suggestions I will be able to put into practice within the next week
