This unit covered classroom management. It covered how a teacher should act within the classroom in a teaching context but as well as monitoring and addressing students. Another area addressed was the arrangement of the classroom itself and different ways to have it organized. I personally appreciated the section which illustrated the behavioural issues that are common with students. I found it important to be aware of the students coming into your classroom and why they might be acting the way they are. For example if they are distracted and distant perhaps it could be concern from an issue at home and they are in need of positive encouragement.
