This unit helped us to see the importance of helping our students speak and write well. Often times writing is given the least importance while learning a language but we need to remember that it is a very important part of communication. english can be a difficult language to learn to write because it is not a phonetic language so spelling can be challenging. We want to work with our students to help them learn to speak and write well.
